ABOUT OUR SCHOOL

MISSION
We at Our Lady of the Rosary exist to serve God through educating and nurturing the whole child. We will be held accountable to our faith and loyalty through consistency, leadership, and service to Christ. Our goal as a community is to academically challenge our students and to instill a sense of direction, service, humility, and compassion.
PHILOSOPHY
As members of the Christian community teaching in Our Lady of the Rosary School, we believe in the necessity of prayer, the importance of trust, the need to understand each child, to counsel and guide them with love, firmness, and understanding, to respect the sacredness of each child, and to maintain harmony, responsibility, unity, and support so that each student can achieve their full potential.
School History
Our Lady of the Rosary School in Paramount, California, opened in September of 1952 to provide a Catholic education for the children of Our Lady of the Rosary Parish. For almost seventy years, Our Lady of the Rosary School has nurtured the spiritual and educational growth of thousands of children. Presently it ministers to 284 students in Grades TK-8.
Our Lady of the Rosary School is a fully accredited school of the Western Association of Schools and Colleges WASC/WCEA.
