Of primary importance at Our Lady of the Rosary School is the imparting of information and spiritual formation of the entire school community. In cooperation with the parents as the primary educators, the school, through its philosophy, Religion Program, and extra-curricular activities, supports the religious and spiritual growth of each student.
Mass is celebrated throughout the school year. Dates and times of these Eucharistic celebrations are predetermined by principa and priest. Children are involved in the planning and the implementation of school liturgies. Opportunities for confession are offered to the students during the school year. The students are also given the opportunity to participate in prayer services and other Para-liturgical services. Prayer in each classroom is part of the daily routine.
Religion is not only the central course in the school curriculum and is taught daily in all grades through our SLE's, School Wide Learning Expectations, but it also permeates through the curriculum and as the mission of our school. SLE's establish the spiritual, academic, social, and emotional characteristics that a student from Our Lady of the Rosary School must embody and develop in their time with us.
